I can not say enough great things about the Overland Park Marriott. The night could not have gone more smoothly. My wedding coordinator was fabulous about paying attention to all of the little details that our night was flawless. It was so much fun and well organized!
The Overland Park Marriott was a wonderful place to have my daughter’s wedding reception. From the first day we met with Christina to all the meetings with Brandy, and up to the day of the reception, we were treated so well! I felt like I didn’t have a care in the world the night of the reception because the Marriott staff had everything under control. People raved about the food and the service.
I can not express how happy we were with everyone at the Marriott. The staff and service was EXCELLENT!! I’ve had NUMEROUS people tell me how wonderful the staff treated them and how impressed they were with our reception. Rafael did an outstanding job for us and went above and beyond his duty to make our daughter’s wedding reception perfect! We will highly recommend this establishment to anyone who is planning any kind of reception or event. If we had to do it again, we would not change a thing!
Our daughter’s wedding was held at the Marriott on October, 27th, 2012. Denise and Rafael were so easy to work with and paid attention to what my daughter, her fiance, and our family were looking for in order to make this day perfect! (nacho bar!) The appetizers were delicious and the dinner was fabulous as well. The staff at the Marriott also was very mindful of the fact that my sister died (in MN) 4 days before the wedding. My husband and I arrived at the hotel to find a beautiful sympathy bouquet of flowers done in the colors of our daughter’s wedding. They were also very mindful that the weekend was about Sarah and PJ and we wanted it to be a celebration…it was fantastic! I would highly recommend this facility for an event of any kind! (It was also great that our guests had rooms at the hotel and didn’t have to drive when the party was over!) Thank you Denise, Rafael, and all of the Marriott staff for a wedding reception that people are still talking about! (I’d give them 10’s if I could!)
